“The building is old so abit cramped and the rooms are small. However, they are clean and well kept and the building is beautifully adorned and well kept. They do an awesome job of making sure that all needs are taken care of despite lack of space. The staff was super helpful and always ready to help. The elephant and castle tube station is a short walk away and there is a store just down the street. Simply put, if I ever visit London again this will be my first choice.”

“Stayed at the City London Hotel and overall had a really good experience for the price. The rooms are cosy and on the smaller side, but you get exactly what you pay for — especially considering the great location, not far from many of London’s main attractions. The breakfast is very basic continental style, but it’s exactly as advertised so no surprises there. The biggest compliment goes to the staff. They were incredibly lovely, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. They securely stored our bags after checkout while we explored the city and also gave us great advice on places to visit around London. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re travelling on a budget and simply want a clean room with a bed and bathroom in a convenient location.”
